The Location

Situated within the proverbial stone's throw of the Northumbrian coast, Regal House can offer one of the most romantic, historical and most beautiful surroundings of any B&B in the land.

Seahouses itself is a traditonal Northumbrian costal village complete with country pub and village shop. Less than a mile away lies the centre. A traditional fishing villagecomplete with it's world famous harbour, Seahouses serves up a wonderful mix of great fish and chips, the renowned Coxon's ice cream and the delight of it's fishing village charm. Those looking to explore the north sea should look no further, as a base for divers, boat trips, bird watchers and those who just love the outdoors Seahouses is as diverses as it is popular.


Roughly two miles to the North is Bamburgh. Once the seat of the Northumbria kingdom, Bamburgh Castle is an imposing site that dominates the entire village that is made up tea rooms, country inns and a fantastic fruit and veg shop!

For those who wish explore the county a little more, the cheviot hills lie to the west and make for a great days walking and offer some fantatic vista's when one stands upon one of the many summits.

Also a short drive away is the Alnwick Garden - what some have called a modern wonder of the world. A £12 milliom, and ongoing development of the Duchess of Northumberland the garden boasts a fantastic pavillion, its very own poison garden and Europe's largest tree house - a truly spectacular sight!
